Holman Auto Center in Beaverton, Oregonhas an outstanding opportunity for a Parts Assistant to join their team!
What will you do?
Receive deliveries throughout the day and reconcile all pieces to the shipping documents to ensure accuracy
Ensure that pieces received are in good condition and damage free
Sort, organize and put away all pieces belonging to stock
Sort, organize, tag and deliver all special-order pieces to the appropriate person(s)
Assemble, organize and package any returns for overnight or delivery service pickup
Prepare a shipping label or Bill of Lading for outgoing packages
Maintain a clear and clean delivery dock
Use mechanical hand tools such as carts, pallet jacks and cages to assist in moving and organizing parts
Use the forklift for loading and unloading of palletized deliveries from delivery trailers
Maintain all warehouse part storage areas for cleanliness and organization
Perform safety inspections daily and monthly, checking for ladders out of place, that the stairs are kept clear, fire extinguishers monthly inspections, etc.
Perform daily forklift inspections
Train and qualify other forklift drivers as needed
Perform daily delivery vehicle inspections for safety concerns- fluids, tire wear and pressure, etc.
Assist in all other warehouse duties as necessary such as parts pulling and delivery to the shop, warranty return part retention and inventory counting/reconciliation.
Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned by Parts Manager
What are we looking for?
Automotive dealership experience is a plus but not required
A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment
Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
Working knowledge of computers
Possess a valid driver's license

Pay:
We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $15.79 - $21.32 USD per hour.
