Job Description:

SUMMARY:


Action-oriented technical engineer and communicator to manage and maintain technology of multi-location, family & community focused, retail environment. A core focus will be uptime and availability of all production related systems while working to improve process, efficiency and communication within the organization.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Other duties may be assigned. Co-management of and responsibility for installation, maintenance, diagnoses, and repairs of network, point of sale systems, Microsoft Online Services, and other board subscribed services and/or owned infrastructure that supports the daily operations of the board.
- Manage and complete all company issued support requests by utilizing support tickets within the current IT Support Ticketing System. This includes keeping stakeholders informed of request status, maintaining commitments, and providing needed details of work completed.
- Work to maintain network uptime across all locations, and keep stakeholders informed when interruptions occur
- Utilizes Change Management best practices when Implementing production system changes that may impact system availability and uptime
- Effectively manages and completes Board Projects and Department Initiatives by working collaboratively with others in the organization to deliver within established timelines, keeping stakeholders informed of progress, and justifying adjustment to deadlines when necessary.
- Assist with annual department budget creation based on needs identified for the board over the next fiscal year. Work to maintain that budget over term in purchase and use of board assets and subscribed services.
- Recommends information technology strategies, policies and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes, identifying problems, evaluating trends, and anticipating requirements
- Maintains backup and disaster recovery processes for all production critical systems and data
- Supports and maintains best practice cybersecurity policies and procedures for board networks, systems, and end users. This will include the support of PCI compliance policies across all point-of-sale related systems.
