SUMMARY
Maintains all aspects of building maintenance through the use of our CMMS, (Computerized Maintenance Management System), to facilitate the effective use of TPM, (Total Productive Maintenance). Works with Jr. Technicians to complete task and supports the EH&S Coordinator on environmental, health and safety for the facility. Leads installation, relocation and troubleshooting of production equipment, machine tools and facility. Works with electrical wiring, pneumatics, PLC's, and Servo motors, also inventory, and spare parts to complete scheduled, (preventive) and unscheduled, (general) maintenance. Reports to the VST Manager/Maintenance Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
* Accountable to the Maintenance Supervisor and responsible for all aspects of maintenance employing TPM in conjunction with the CMMS.
* Run new electrical circuits to meet equipment requirements and compliance, such as LOTO, (Lockout/Tagout), Hot Work, Arc Flash, PPE etc.
* Facilitate scheduled, (PM's) and unscheduled repairs, procure parts, and overall maintenance through:
* Trouble shooting electronic circuits and PLC's using external / internal sources, schematics, and OEM manuals.
* Inspect alinement and make necessary mechanical and/or parameter adjustments; to items such as spindles, tooling stations or controllers.
* Dismantle machines or equipment to access areas of repairs or PM's.
* Communicate with technical support internal and external.
* Electronics, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical components of CNC machine tools, production equipment and tooling.
* Assist in the creation of new PM's, Procedures, Policies, and their review process.
* Reviewing, and performing Work Orders, (W/O), coordinating with outside vendor services in relation to the maintenance of equipment and fixtures, such as:
* Maintain emergency lighting installations, ensuring that they are always functional.
* Fire pumps system, alarms, extinguishers, and predictive and preventive maintenance.
* Ensure the proper functioning of eyewash stations distributed in the plant.
* Use protective equipment needed when performing the work.
* Provide support to the department in repair work, installation, or adjustments.

SALARY INFORMATION
In compliance with CA state law, the hourly range for this position is $31.34 - $39.03 per hour. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Amphenol CIT reviews factors such as but not limited to responsibilities of the position, scope of work, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal pay equity, as well as market considerations when extending an offer.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Certified Electrician or,
* Strong background in working with electrical circuits.
* High school graduate or equivalent with 3 plus years of well-rounded maintenance experience in electronics, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment or,
* Vocation school (specializing in machine tool repair) or,
* Maintenance Technician with 3 plus years working on machine tools in a manufacturing environment.
* Demonstrate interpersonal skills and effectiveness using the English language both writing and orally.
* Demonstrate an awareness and understanding of applicable State/Federal Laws and Regulations.
* Exhibit a professional demeanor and appearance.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
* Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
* Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to read and understand verbal and written instructions, read blueprints, drawings, and schematics.

Amphenol CIT is a clean facility, housing different machinery, equipment, processes, and chemicals which produce potential hazards in the work environment such as: ergonomic, chemical, machine point of operation, and powered industrial vehicle traffic. These hazards are controlled through means of engineering controls, such as machine guarding, and administrative controls, such as safety policies and programs. In certain areas of the facility, employees are required to wear Personal Protective equipment such as Hearing Protection, Safety Glasses, Safety Toe Shoes, and hand protection.
