Summary:
Coordinates and provides the pharmaceutical and clinical care to patients. Provides leadership to pharmacy personnel. Supports pharmacy clinical and operational programs. Serves as an advocate for patient and provider relations.
Responsibilities:
Serves as a preceptor for students/interns.Manages the process of filling and dispensing medications to ensure accurate and timely delivery. Provides patient counseling and clinical support for department programs.Responsible for direct oversight of pharmacy support personnel.Supports pharmacy manager with clinical initiatives, department programs and goals, and inventory management activities.Serves as a clinical liaison between providers, clinical teams, and patients to support pharmaceutical initiatives and programs.Supports pharmacy manager with regulatory compliance activities.
