Summary:



Manages the organization's construction projects from planning to completion.



Responsibilities:



Provides a full range of project management services for the development, design, construction, completion, and activation of assigned construction projects including managing scope, schedule, cost, risk, and resources.Provides project leadership, coordination, and facilitation with internal and external parties to meet project goals, communicates/obtains information, and proactively identifies and resolves project-related issues.Oversees financial aspects of internally managed projects, including estimates, project budget, funding, purchase orders, change orders, and requisition payments, from feasibility through close-out. Prepares weekly project status and schedule updates and reports and monitors/updates construction schedules.

Education and Certification Requirements:



High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)

Complexity of Work: Must have knowledge of building systems, design and construction techniques, Joint Commission, AHCA code, applicable NFPA (Fire) codes, ADA, Infection Control Procedures, and Florida Building Code as applied to ongoing planning/design/construction projects; ability to read, interpret, and apply construction document and specification information; working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Requires critical thinking skills, effective communication skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Required Work Experience: Five (5) years of experience managing complex design and construction projects.
