Job Description:

As a Claims Clerk, you will support the claims department by handling miscellaneous clerical and administrative functions, such as pulling unemployment forms from state websites and and handling other claim-related documents. In addition, you will help deliver excellent customer service over the phone to both internal and external partners.

What you'll do


  • You will assist management in resolving raised client issues
  • You will file documents according to supervisory direction
  • You will enter or key information into a computer for the Claims function
  • You will distribute documents to the appropriate personnel as needed
  • Regular attendance is an essential function of the job and is required
  • You may also be requested to code or load information into the computer or via other filing means

What experience you need


  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1 year of experience in a professional office environment with an emphasis on organization of work duties and performing job functions independently
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office PC applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well the ability to type 35 WPM or higher
