HR Specialist at Roth Staffing Companies in Poway, California

Job Description:

Location: Poway, CA


Schedule: Full-time, on-site.


Pay: $57,400 to $62,400 per year


Responsibilities


• Perform a wide range of HR and administrative functions


• Support the reception desk by greeting guests, issuing badges, and providing front desk support


• Serve as the first point of contact for the HR department


• Resolve HR-related inquiries and respond to emails and phone calls


• Conduct hiring activities including sourcing, screening, evaluating, and interviewing candidates


• Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation


• Assist with employee recognition programs


• Handle with workers' compensation claims


• Create and submit invoices


• Manage employee records, prepare reports, and process paperwork


• Ensure HR compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws


• Handle sensitive employee information


• Oversee employee relations


• Assist with other duties as assigned


Requirements


• 5+ years of progressive HR experience


• Must have bilingual fluency in English and Spanish


• Bachelor's degree in human resources or other relevant fields preferred


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
