Shuttle required trailers to needed positions on company property and over public roads while following all Tyson safety policies and procedures.
Requirements & Tasks:

Must be willing and able to follow all safety rules and plant GMPs.
Maintain trailer seal log.
Check and fuel refrigerated trailers.
Shuttle trailers to needed docks and/or alternate locations.
Maintain Daily Trailer Inventory Sheets.
Report any damage or needed repairs to supervisor.
Keep equipment clean and orderly at all times.
Must be willing and able to cross train as Material Handler.
Assist with housekeeping in the yard and dock areas.
Perform any additional duties as needed to assist the department.
Must be willing and able to maintain Powered Industrial Truck Certification.
Ability to use problem solving skills and work well under pressure.
Must be willing to communicate verbally with team members.
Must be willing to operate equipment safely.
Must be willing to lift up to 50lbs occasionally throughout shift.
Team members in this job classification shall experience prolonged exposure to temperature extremes ranging from 60 degrees to 120 degrees F with moderate noise levels.
Exhibit comfort in navigating small footprints and close environments.
Requirements:

No DUI/DWIs in the last 12 months
A valid state issued driver's license
At least 18 years of age
Must be willing to have an MVR
6 months experience in working as a yard driver in a warehousing/manufacturing facility required.
6 months experience driving a forklift/pallet jack preferred.
Knowledge of inventory management and using a scan gun preferred.
Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.
