Job Description:

Position ResponsibilitiesResponsible for comprehensive project planning, full cycle implementation, and in-depth system integration.Accountable for developing and managing product backlog.Responsible for effectively managing services such as: product delivery to clients, user adoption, and performance analysis.Provide support and guidance on request for proposals, statement of work, product offerings documentation, requirements mapping, presentations, and project deliverables.Conduct client and vendor interactions on behalf of the company.Implement strategies to increase the company's profitability and ensure clients and vendors are satisfied with services provided.Operational ExpectationsLeadership and StrategyDevelop and implement the engineering vision, strategy, and roadmap.Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and collaborative engineering practices.Provide leadership and mentorship to development and operations teams, promoting professional growth and development.Technical OversightOversee the design, development, and implementation of SaaS products.Ensure the highest standards of technical quality and performance in SaaS deliverables.Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.CollaborationWork closely with cross-functional teams including product management, design, and operations to ensure cohesive product strategies.Collaborate with executive leadership to align engineering goals with business objectives.Resource ManagementManage development and operations resources, budgets, and timelines effectively to maximize productivity and project success.Recruit, retain, and develop top technical talent to build high-performing teams.Results MeasurementEstablish metrics and KPIs to assess the performance and impact of the engineering department.Analyze project outcomes and implement improvements based on lessons learned.Risk ManagementIdentify potential technical challenges and risks, developing strategies to mitigate them.Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and quality standards.Technical SkillsStrong knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL), Business Analytics and Agile software developmentExtensive knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processExtensive knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)Technical knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, C, C++, HTML, Java Script, CSS and JSONApplications knowledge of project management tools (examples JIRA, Axosoft, Basecamp, Google Analytics and Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, Postman, Insomnia, Microsoft TFS and Trello)Required QualificationsExtensive knowledge of developing project plans, project executions, risk monitoring, project monitoring & control, project evaluation and review techniquesFunctionally and technically proficient in SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) application deploymentExcellent oral and written communications skillsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to manage small, medium and large team project stakeholdersComprehensive knowledge of industry best practice, industry trends and related forecastsEducation & ExperienceBachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology required; Masters degree preferredMinimum of 6+ years of industry experience requiredExtensive experience in engineering leadership roles, with a proven track record of success in software development, particularly in the SaaS industry
