The Inside Sales Account Specialist strategically conducts sales calls to existing and potential customers to maintain/grow profitable revenue. This position develops a pipeline of potential customers, collaborates and communicates with peers on freight services, submits requests to the Pricing department and negotiates rates to obtain new accounts and grow profitable revenue.
Job Responsibilities:
Contacts customer base.
Analyzes account recaps and monitors revenue trends to develop product recommendations.
Manages accounts by providing customers with a seamless customer experience.
Utilizes shipping technology systems with customer database sign-up for account activity review.
Establishes and submits pricing requests.
Prospects for new customers and opportunities.
Builds and Maintains Relationships with Customers.
Participates in Inside Sales Special Projects.
Job Requirements:
U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.
Experience in the transportation industry preferred
Individual must be organized, detail oriented and have strong communication skills
Projects future customer needs and is a critical thinker with analytical skills
Ability to build strategic relationships with focus on customer pipeline and key decision making.
Bachelor's degree not required but preferred
Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the position or being willing to self-relocate
