Job Description:

Supervisor, Finance Systems is responsible for the management, support and coaching of subordinates to provide efficient and effective support for finance systems and applications. Ensures staff are adequately trained, aligned with service and productivity goals, and adhere to quality standards. Oversees the timely processing of work, monitors applicable Jira ticket incident/request timeliness, tracks capacity, and helps manage service levels for production issues.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Supervises day-to-day operations of the Finance Systems subledger team
  • Responsible for managing and prioritizing the incident/request process from inception to closure and monitor response / resolution times.
  • Oversees Problem Management issues and ensures management awareness and customer communication.
  • Assists in compiling and reporting on key performance metrics related to production support.
  • Implements and reinforces adherence to compliance, policies and procedures related to department.
  • Identify workflow opportunities, present recommendations, and implement changes for continuous improvement.
  • Balances workload to optimize the effectiveness of Finance Systems Department.
  • Leads and participates in workgroups to implement new requirements and resolve issues through technology.
  • Engages with stakeholders and leadership to ensure alignment with strategic plans and priorities, including priority of enhancements and allocation of resources.
  • Maintains and promotes quality relationships with internal team and external vendors.
  • May participate in development of annual departmental budget, monitor budget, and/or identify budget discrepancies and provides potential solutions.



  • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE



    Relevant combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
    • Certification or progress toward related certification(s) is highly preferred and encouraged.
    • Five (5) years experience of progressive responsibility in a business environment with demonstrated technical knowledge that provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities required.
    • One (1) year supervisory or leadership experience in business is required.
    • Bilingual skills preferred.

    Work is performed in an office setting with no unusual hazards.



    Pay Range



    Actual compensation decision relies on the consideration of internal equity, candidate's skills and professional experience, geographic location, market and other potential factors. It is not standard practice for an offer to be at or near the top of the range, and therefore a reasonable estimate for this role is between $68,700 and $115,100.
