American HealthCare, LLC, is currently recruiting for a Business Office Consultant for Central and Northern Virginia. The Business Office Consultant is responsible for the efficient operation of the Business Office of assigned Heritage Hall nursing facilities to include: assisting with the collection and research of outstanding accounts, conducting monthly accounts receivable reviews and audits, and providing business office training and staffing. The Business Office Consultant conducts frequent visits to assigned facilities and assists the Business Office Manager with meeting established goals and resolving problem areas.
Business Office Consultant Qualifications
Four-year degree or minimum three (3) years experience in nursing facility business office operations
Knowledge of accounting principles, audit standards, insurance billing, and private collection techniques
Ability to analyze multiple types of accounts and resolve billing/payment discrepancies
Ability to identify accounts receivable trends, and assist the Business Office Manager with executing collection tasks
Must be detail-oriented, able to multi-task, and work in a variety of business office environments
Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral form
Extensive travel, including overnight travel, required across Central Virginia and some travel required to other regions of Virginia.
