Purpose



The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean environment in the transitional housing facility and will work on a as needed per diem basis.



Responsibilities

• Cleans all common area locations including the living room, dining room, sitting room, kitchen, laundry room, pantry, bathrooms, and storage areas. Cleaning includes floors and surfaces. Bathroom cleaning includes the showers, sinks, toilets, and floors.


• Turns over rooms when residents checkout. Strips and washes bedding. Cleans all room surfaces, carpets, closets, etc. Makes bed with clean, fresh linens.


• Refills soap and shampoo dispensers in bathrooms and showers.


• Takes inventory of cleaning supplies and updates the Operations Team when products need to be ordered.


• Stock supply closets when new supplies arrive.


• Removes trash from rooms during room turnover and trash from all common areas.


• Updates staff regarding maintenance needs.

Qualifications



Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.


Experience: The ideal candidate will have previous experience in housekeeping in the hospitality industry (hotels, restaurants).


Other Skills: Written and verbal communication skills in English required. Apply Now
