Job Description
*This position serves as a Service Transition Coordinator and provides support to Change Sponsors/Managers and MCCCs across the Air Force to facilitate processing of Change Requests, Work Orders, Tasks, and Incident tickets. Works as liaison between customers and various network operations functional areas to expedite requests.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities From PWS/SOW
*Coordinate and facilitate effective accomplishment of Change and Incident Management among AFIN operators.
*Process, review, categorize, document, and work with stakeholders to ensure high visibility Change Requests and Incidents are approved and routed through the system in a timely manner.
O High/Critical CRQs require immediate coordination for implementation
O Medium CRQs 2 weeks or less implementation
O Low CRQs 30 days or less implementation
*Receive listing of special interest CRQs that need to be elevated (High or Critical) and "expedite" processing.
*Contact applicable functional areas for voting, processing, and resolution confirmation.
*Monitor the Change Request queue to ensure processing thresholds are achieved.
*Serve as liaison between customers and functional areas for NIPRNet and SIPRNet.
*Educate customers on the change process to include who to contact in regard to updates on CRQs, priority matrix, thresholds, and proper ways to update CRQs.
*Create and submit reports on the status of MCCC Priority CRQs to AFIN Mission Assurance Center (AMAC) Crew Commanders.
Education & Experience
*Requires a minimum of 4 years of related experience
*Must have excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
*Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Must have excellent critical thinking skills
Certifications
Required:
o IAT II = Security+, CySA+, CCNA - Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP or higher
Desired:
o ITIL v4 Foundation
Security Clearance
Required:
o Applicants must have active Secret clearance with ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
Desired:
o Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
Other (Travel, Work Environment, DoD 8570 Requirements, Administrative Notes, etc.)
*Day Shift. This is a 24/7/365 mission and extended hours/days may be required.
