Job Summary
The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for thoroughly testing all engineered systems orders to meet the quality expectations of our customers, both internal and external. They provide technical support including troubleshooting equipment, validation of completed engineered systems products and create the necessary validation documentation. The Manufacturing Technician will work both autonomously and cross-functionally with Operations and Engineering to ensure each system is completed per the defined schedule.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Perform final testing of engineered system orders based on established test procedures.
Perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and PLC troubleshooting as needed to correct issues. Update system documentation to reflect corrections.
Initiate permanent corrective actions for internal repetitive failure modes through redesign, error correction or training
Initiate new test procedures based on feedback from Field Engineering or Quality Team
Maintain staging equipment and ensure a safe working environment before, during and after testing processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Production and Engineering to achieve target shipment dates and provide recommendations that improve component quality or system performance.
Education and Experience Requirements
Education
Associate degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering or Technology.
In the absence of a degree, 5+ years of electrical/electromechanical experience is acceptable.
Experience
Minimum of 8 years working in a similar role in a manufacturing environment

Ability to manage multiple projects and their milestones while maintaining an elevated level of quality.
Highly motivated self-starter who can work with minimal supervision.

Flexibility and multitasking are necessary to work in the fast-paced environment.
Understanding of software/computer systems
Ability to program and troubleshoot PLC's, HMI's, VFD's and control systems
