Summary:



Designs, codes, tests and deploys software in all layers of the development life cycle. Provides the necessary documentation. Works with databases, APIs, servers, networks and various programming languages.


We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Advisor to join our Enterprise Rating Organization. This role is essential in designing, coding, testing, and deploying software across the full stack of the development lifecycle. As a Full Stack Advisor, you'll be responsible for creating and maintaining Revenue Systems applications, particularly using Java and related technologies. The ideal candidate will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the application's business rules, provide support for corporate initiatives, and perform both development and production support duties.



Job Responsibilities:



As a key contributor to design and development, this role involves designing software solutions and coding in multiple programming languages, with a focus on developing Java-based client-server and web applications. Responsibilities include testing and deploying newly developed code according to company standards, maintaining comprehensive documentation for all developed code, and providing mentorship to less senior developers to support team growth. In addition, the role involves performing production support duties, assisting with test execution, diagnosing system issues, and implementing resolutions. Working as part of a cross-functional team, effective communication across all levels of management is essential.



Essential Technical Skills:


  • Languages and Frameworks: Proficient in Java, JavaScript, J2EE technologies, and Spring Framework, with expertise in HTML5 and SQL.

  • Tools and Technologies: Experience with WebLogic, Redis Caching, Materialize, SOAP/RESTful Web Services, Hibernate/JPA, Junit Test Framework, JMS Messaging, and Linux OS scripting.

  • Database Management: Skilled in Oracle/SQL Developer, with an understanding of both SQL and NoSQL data services.

  • Additional Tools: Familiar with OAuth, API management (e.g., ApiGee), and development practices using Jenkins, Jenkinsfile DSL, GIT, and JSON/XML.

  • Development Methodologies: Experience with Test-Driven and Behavior-Driven Development, SAFe methodology, and Agile environments.

  • Preferred Knowledge: Knowledge of Tuxedo configuration, Xamarin development, and mobile device management (MDM/MAM) tools is a plus.


Additional Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey technical information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.

  • Ability to remain current with industry trends and emerging technologies.


Minimum Education



Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in computer science, engineering, or information systems and/or equivalent.



Minimum Experience



Four (4) years qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



Strong written and verbal communication skills.



Domicile Information: This position can be based out of Pittsburgh, PA or Memphis, TN (preferred locations; or can be domiciled anywhere in the United States. The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.



Preferred Qualifications:



Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.



Pay: US pay range: $8,007.29 - $14,413.11 monthly
