Description: Our client is currently seeking a Male Personal Care Assistant - Elementary School!


Job Title: Personal Care Assistant (Male)


Location: Chester, PA 19013


Hours: Monday-Friday 8:15am-3:45pm


Type: Open-Ended Contract



Job Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction in cognitive, motor, feeding, self-help, and behavior control skills.


• Ensure health and safety of physically handicapped students.


• Assist with personal hygiene tasks (handwashing, toileting, changing).


• Monitor and manage student behavior.


• Support physical development activities.


• Prepare students for mainstream classes.


• Attend training and in-service sessions.


• Assist with orthopedic equipment and student positioning.


• Maintain student progress records.


• Implement positive behavior interventions.


• Collaborate with case workers, teachers, and staff.


• Assist in social interactions.


• Work cooperatively and independently.


• Perform additional related duties.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• First Aid and CPR procedures


• Basic record-keeping techniques


• Highschool/GED/or higher degree
