Research Associate

Texas Biomedical Research Institute in San Antonio, TX, is searching for an enthusiastic, organized, and skilled full-time Research Associate.

The Role:

• Performs complex scientific research tasks.
• Develops or improves techniques to address research needs.
• Plans, schedules, and coordinates research activities.
• Generates, records, and compiles research data according to laboratory standards.
• Participates in quality control activities as required
• Prepares project reports, data summaries or other study related documents.
• Evaluates, selects, and applies standard scientific techniques.
• Generates, records and compiles research data adhering to institutional quality standards
• Function as part of a Team contributing to lab activities as required
• Perform studies at BSL3 and BSL4 biocontainment laboratories.

Our Ideal Candidate:
Requires Master's degree with major course work relevant to field of assignment with at least two years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's Degree with at least four years of relevant experience.
