St. Norbert College (SNC), a nationally-ranked, private, Catholic, liberal arts college is seeking a pool of qualified applicants for possible temporary part-time teaching assignments. These positions are filled on an as-needed basis and are on-going recruitments. Assignments may include day, evening, and weekend courses and may be in-person, online, or blended courses.
As staffing needs arise, the dean of health and human development will review the pool and contact those applicants they are interested in interviewing. There are also times when adjunct faculty are needed to fill a last-minute void as well. Therefore, departments are better able to communicate their most recent teaching needs at the time of interviews.
Minimum Academic Qualifications: The expectation is that individuals who teach at the undergraduate level will typically hold a master's or higher in the discipline or subfield in which they teach.
Minimum Professional Experience: At least five years of professional experience in the field with demonstrated currency in the field at the time of appointment (work experience, publications, licensure, presentations, or equivalent within the last five years).
All decisions are made at the discretion of the department. Applicants who meet the minimum requirements are not automatically accepted to teach at St. Norbert College.
As this is for a pool of applicants, it may take time before you hear anything. If a dean or chair of a department has already reached out to you to teach, please continue with the application process to confirm your interest.
Applicants should upload a cover letter indicating the area of discipline they are interested in along with a current cover letter or CV.
Disciplines within Health and Human Development include:
Biology
Education
International Studies
Psychology
Sociology
