Job Opening: CFO / Director of Finance in Construction
Location: Walnut Creek area - hybrid role
Pay: $160K-$220K - DOE
Are you a strategic finance leader with a strong construction background and expertise in Sage/Timberline? Join a team where your knowledge of multi-state compliance and financial reporting will make an impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee accounting operations, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll teams.
- Lead corporate accounting in compliance with GAAP: prepare income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, work-in-process schedules, and account reconciliations.
- Manage audits, including 401(k), and coordinate tax filings with CPA.
- Ensure compliance with multi-state contractor licensing and annual reporting.
- Calculate monthly commissions and generate monthly financial summaries and dashboards.
- Support team cross-training and maintain up-to-date process documentation.
- Handle multi-state sales, use, and privilege tax filings, as well as personal property tax returns.
