Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories, a nationally recognized laboratory, is searching for a Stability Coordinator Scientist for development products to support our Professional Scientific Services group in Berkeley, CA.
Stability Coordinator Scientist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :
Creating / Updating Stability studies in LIMS
Pull, process and deliver Stability Samples to sample handling offices (includes aliquoting)
Managing Stability Chambers (REES review, knowledge of stability chambers)
Processing and delivering Retain Requests and Late Testing Forms
Yearly Inventory reconciliation for Stability Studies
Reconciling and Disposition of extra Stability Samples
Data entry in LIMS and Excel and other documents as necessary
Receiving, processing and storing of Stability Vials from Packaging.
Special Studies' management.
Initiating Stability DR's like Chamber excursions, inventory discrepancies, etc.
Creating and distributing weekly pending reports to labs for sample delivery notification
Creating and distributing weekly pending reports to labs for sample delivery notification
Creation / maintenance of stability study record folder.
Filing of Stability Records
Performs stability data verification for summary documents
The ideal candidate would possess:
Experience managing samples and data into regulated electronic systems
Experience maintaining laboratory equipment and calibration/ maintenance schedules including compliant chain of custody and documentation
Experience with OpenLab, SAP and LIMS preferable.
Excellent technical writing skills including experience with SOPs and document review processes
Experience in a regulated, GMP or GLP environment
Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
Experience in stability operations
Basic Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor degree in chemistry, life sciences, or other related degree concentration
At least 2-3 years related laboratory experience
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Position is full-time, Monday through Friday (8 a.m.-5p.m.), with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Berkeley, California are encouraged to apply.
