Contributes to the Goodwill Mission by providing daily oversight to the Food Service Galley's. Trains and coaches employees. Gives direction to galley employees to ensure that customer satisfaction and food service standards are being met to achieve established goals.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
Support and conduct the training of all direst labor employees to reach their full potential as highly productive and collaborative member of the team. Oversee that there is adequate coverage within the galley.
Unlock/lock galley doors at start/end of meal.
Ring out cashiers at the end of the meal.
Maintain a safe and orderly work environment; ensure employees operate equipment safely and follow safe work practices.
Work with Galley Management to conduct apprehensions following established loss prevention policies and procedures.
Accurately complete data entry of required reports on time. Share with leadership insight or concerns found in report data or other documentation.
Consistently communicate and implement policies and procedures, reporting concerns to leadership.
Plan and organize work assignments to increase customer service and protect assets.
Community Engagement: Champions Goodwill's community engagement initiatives and serves as an ambassador for Goodwill in the wider community.
Responsible for completing other duties/responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Enroll in and successfully complete Career Path.
Work a full-time, 40 hour per- week schedule and have flexibility to change schedule based on business needs.
Ability to work and travel to all galley locations on base.
Must pass all trainings including Cook class and Veg prep.
Must be able to pass ServSafe test and maintain the qualification.
Complete and pass the Crew Leader assessment.
Must be at least 18 years of age to operate equipment.

Lift: Raises objects from lower to higher position or moves objects horizontally. Stoop, kneel crouch or crawl: Positions self to retrieve objects. Reach: Extending upwards or downwards to retrieve objects. Worker is subject to weather conditions (hot, humid, dry, cold etc.). Required to remain stationary or walking for extended periods. Visual acuity> 20/200 and peripheral >20 degrees.
