Job Specifics:
The Clinical Specialist will assist the Rehab Team Leader with specialty program development & external marketing; participate in multidisciplinary rounds, provide formal & informal in-services /educational offerings for staff and the community; assess & track outcomes and develop plans, based on clinical outcomes & metrics and mentor peers. In addition, this position demonstrates competency in the performance of duties and responsibilities related to patient evaluation; development of care plans; administration of therapeutic interventions and documentation of clinical care.

3. Demonstrates competency in the performance of duties and responsibilities related to the administration of therapeutic interventions. 4. Demonstrates competency in the performance of duties and responsibilities related to the documentation of clinical care. . Maintains medical record including assessment, interventions and clinical response. 5. Demonstrates competency in the performance of duties and responsibilities related to the communication of clinical and operational information. . Participates in daily inpatient discharge planning rounds. 6. Demonstrates competency in the performance of duties and responsibilities related to receiving and providing education. .7. Demonstrates competency in the performance of duties and responsibilities related to the supervision of support staff.
Qualifications
Experience Minimum Required
• Min of 2000 hrs. of clinical practice in the specialty area, 25% which has occurred in the last 3 yrs.
Education Minimum Required
• BA or BS in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Therapy
Training Minimum Required
• Post professional certification/specialization in area of specialty supported by National Board Exam or successful completion of Fellowship/Residency in area of specialization.
Special Skills Minimum Required
• Advanced clinical reasoning and mentorship exp
Licensure and/or Certifications Required
• NH License Physical Therapist • AHA or ARC BLS within 2 weeks of hire
