We are looking for candidates to fill the position of Structural Revit Designer for our Buildings practice. The Structural Revit Designer will create structural drawing packages to provide solutions and achieve design goals for LJB's clients by a set deadline.
Pay: $60,000-100,000/year
STRUCTURAL REVIT DESIGNER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Perform routine to moderately complex drafting and detailing to produce accurate drawings and plans necessary for fabrication and construction in accordance with customer contract documents, industry standards, and established company practices and procedures.
Coordinates and communicates with Project Managers, Engineers, and Designers within office and from other offices to develop construction documents.
Transform conceptual/schematic designs using Revit into working construction documents.
Be able to review drawings to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards, as well as perform routine drafting and technical tasks as required throughout the project duration.
Participate in the preparation of schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and any additional drawing using Revit.
Maintain quality standards, format special requirements, etc. as mandated by office production standards.
Coordinate working drawing information with related external sources and consultants.

STRUCTURAL REVIT DESIGNER ESSENTIAL CREDENTIALS:
Education:
Two-year technical degree in drafting design or engineering technologies strongly preferred, or CAD Drafting Certificate with relevant work experience
Continuing education/professional development in Revit (Structural) preferred.
Qualifications:
5+ years of industry experience, structural focus preferred.
Minimum continuous 4+ years of design experience using Revit.
High level of proficiency with Revit required.
Proficient in Bluebeam and Microsoft Office.
Organize and prioritize your work schedule to complete tasks on time.
Communicate in-depth information to verify the design meets the client and LJB's standards.
Critical thinking and problem solving.

Efficiency and comprehension of reading Architectural & Structural technical drawings.
Quick and continuous learning.

Experience with 3D perspectives from Lidar and or other scans preferred.
