The Washington State Department of Corrections health services department is hiring! Our Corrections Medicine positions carry with them the autonomy that so many Physicians and Psychiatrists are missing elsewhere along with the possibility of a good work-life balance and a meaningful contribution to society. We are excited to be partnering to improve the health of Washingtonians experiencing incarceration. We are working with the humanitarian Amend project (Now called the "Washington Way), committed to changing incarceration to a redemptive path. 97% of our patients leave prison and we follow the philosophy that "people go to court to get punished and prison to become better neighbors."
