Job Description:

The Engineering Technician IV performs assignments that are not completely standardized or prescribed, selects or adapts standard procedures or equipment, using fully applicable precedents, receives initial instructions, equipment requirements, shipping and receiving, and advice from supervisors or engineers as needed, performs recurring work independently. Work is reviewed for technical adequacy or conformity with instructions. This technician performs at this level one or a combination of such typical duties as:

a. Constructing components, subunits, or simple models or adapts standard equipment; may troubleshoot and correct malfunctions;

b. b. Following specific layout and scientific diagrams to construct and package simple devices and subunits of equipment.

c. Conducting various tests or experiments which may require minor modifications in test setups or procedures as well as subjective judgments in measurement, selecting, preparing, and operating standard test equipment and records test data.

d. Climb certification is required and assisting in tower climbing / support will be necessary occasionally. CANNOT be afraid of heights. Prior climbing experience is a plus.

e. Inventory management responsible for assisting in overseeing and optimizing the inventory management processes within the company. This role involves maintaining accurate inventory levels, forecasting demand, implementing inventory control procedures, and ensuring the efficient handling of stock to meet the needs of the business and its customers.

f. Will assist in the Shipping and Receiving process and is responsible for supporting the shipping and receiving operations within the warehouse and work spaces. This role involves ensuring that all products and materials are accurately processed and documented, maintaining inventory records, and coordinating with various departments to ensure timely and efficient movement of goods.

g. Have basic knowledge in the functions of a computer and able to process basic IP naming / troubleshooting

h. Provide comprehensive administrative support and ensure the efficient operations of office activities. A key component of this role is proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams, etc.) which is essential for conducting day-to-day activities.

i. Prior experience working with ERP, JIRA, WAT highly encouraged but not required.

j. This position will require occasional travel (approx. 25%) in support of day-to-day operations across the United States and OCONUS.

Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance
