Azure Applications Developer (Intermediate, Hybrid) at BOOST LLC in Salida, Colorado

BOOST LLC is a dynamic management consulting firm that offers an array of government-compliant back-office solutions to support our teaming partners within the GovCon space.

BOOST is helping our client NAVSYS recruit for an Applications Developer to develop Azure/UX based custom programs for technical web sites that will be informational and be appealing to both internal and external users. This role is an exciting mix of design and development work towards a SaaS application with identity management features and a IoT hub back end. This is a new role reporting into the Functional Project Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• In collaboration with our engineering group, designs web applications and components from the requirements stage, through design, through production deployment. These are front-end user interfaces to new or existing databases using a combination of UX and MS Azure through languages such as Python, C#, C++ and JavaScript.
• Designs and implements user-driven templates, databases, and interfaces for ease of use.
• Develops external and internal Web portals allowing users to input and retrieve accurate information.
• Write clean, well-documented, high-quality code that meets accepted standards, ensures optimal performance, and achieves business requirements.
• Help to design and develop site features that address business needs and improve the user's experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience Required:

• U.S. citizenship required. At a minimum, must be security clearance eligible. An active Secret or Top-Secret Clearance is a plus
• Degree Requirement: Bachelor's (or equivalent) in web or graphic design with at least years of MS Azure experience. Experience with UX is also desirable.
• Proven experience with graphics, layout, scripting and programming.
• Possesses a thorough knowledge of programming and server software operations.
• Working under only general direction, provides technical solutions to a wide range of issues. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions.
• This is a hybrid position, working approximately 50% of schedule out of our Salida, Colorado location. Candidates residing close to NAVSYS Colorado Springs office will also be considered.

Salary range: $90,000-$120,000, with flexibility based upon related experience and technical expertise
