As the Communications Manager for the Product Marketing team, you will be leading and mentoring a team of talented copywriters, working closely with cross-functional teams to create compelling copies for Walmart Marketplace. You will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the tone and voice of our brand and ensuring that our messaging is benefit-driven and feature-focused.
Job Description:
Supervise and guide a team of copywriters to produce high-quality content.
Work closely with leadership, product managers, graphic designers, business owners, and other stakeholders to translate business objectives into actionable marketing messages.
Oversee the creation of copy for various marketing initiatives including product launch campaigns, landing pages, lifecycle communications, blogs, case studies, and presentation decks.
Ensure that all copy aligns with Walmart's marketing goals and enhances brand consistency across all marketing channels.
Develop innovative content strategies that align with marketing goals.
Analyze and optimize content performance to improve effectiveness.
Manage multiple projects, ensuring that all work is completed on time and meets quality standards.
Key Qualifications:
Proven experience as a copy manager, preferably in a B2B or e-commerce environment.
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent collaboration and relationship-building skills.
Familiarity with popular platforms such as HubSpot or WordPress.
A portfolio of writing projects that demonstrate your ability to create compelling and engaging content across various formats.
Minimum Qualifications
5-7 years of creative copywriting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Bachelor's degree in an associated field or equivalent experience
