Driver at Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace in Port Washington, New York

Job Description:

Our Port Washington Store is actively seeking a PT Driver for its team! This newly hired individual will be responsible for picking up deliveries at our flagship store in Melville and delivering them back to our Port Washington Store. A CDL is NOT required for this position.

In this role, Individual can expect to:
* Drive to our Melville Store and pick up stock items
* Organize stock items inside truck
* Back at home store and working with our Receiving Department, unload truck truck items

Ensure Safe Warehouse Operations and Supply Storage
Safety is a main priority for Uncle Giuseppes Marketplace, and it is up to receiving clerks to assist with the implementation of safety practices and processes within a warehouse. They make sure that all safety procedures comply with state and federal regulations, post safety information for employee review, train employees in safety methods, and maintain a neat and orderly environment.

Requirements
HS Diploma or equivalentA minimum of 2 years of experience driving a light truckClean driving record and ability to drive a house truck (non-CDL length truck)Good understanding of warehouse safety rules and regulationsPhysical dexterity and experience loading and unloading goods
