Summary
The Project Coordinator supports the team on assigned projects by assisting with correspondence and administrative tasks, tracking project deliverables and deadlines, and providing regular reports highlighting variances.
This is a safety-sensitive position.
Key Responsibilities
Safety First – Put safety first and production second. Always.
Updates necessary tracking system(s) to ensure that project and/or program status is maintained with complete accuracy, including third-party management systems.
Administratively obtain necessary permits and licenses as required for each project.
Work closely with the Project Manager and Accounting team to ensure the project is fully invoiced in a timely manner.
Identifies and works to remove barriers to the successful completion of the overall project.
Provide timely project status updates to the Project Managers.
Tracks contracts, purchase orders, submittals and completes project close-out manuals.
Creates and distributes correspondence relevant to the team, project or program (internal and external).
Assists with administrative preparation for various meetings.
Communicates all issues to management prior to reaching critical status.
Develops and maintains accurate and complete files for projects and programs; continues to monitor for integrity and completeness.
Provide ad hoc reports as requested.
Provide additional administrative support as required.
Issues vendor POs as needed.
Provides support with pulling necessary permits for site work.
Various office management functions such as ordering, package shipment, event coordination, office vendor coordination, and payment (garbage, utilities, coffee, etc.).
Other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands
Required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms.
Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Occasionally required to lift or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds.
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug/alcohol testing and participate in the random testing program.
Position requires working indoors in a professional office atmosphere.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Minimum Qualifications
Technical Skills:
Must be able to work in a team environment and be a valued member of the team and the company.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products and have advanced computer skills.
Must have CAD or GIS familiarity/experience/training.
Must have excellent time, organization, and office management skills.
Must be detail-oriented.
Soft Skills:
Must be able to communicate at a high level in person, by phone, and by email with team members and clients.
Experience in wireless, telecommunications, construction and/or public utility is preferred.
Must be self-motivated with the desire to learn new things and project a positive attitude toward others in all work-related settings.
Must be able to read, comprehend, and carry out instructions.
Must be able to work on a team and independently as required.

None.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position.
Workdays and hours are typically Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with some overtime requirements.
Travel
Minimal travel requirements are expected for this position.
Education and Experience
Required:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
Desired:
Three to five years’ experience in wireless, telecommunications, construction and/or public utility.
