Job Responsibilities:
This management position will be responsible for overseeing the treatment services offered within Cynthia Day Family Center (CDFC). This person will be working collaboratively with the residential program manager, under the supervision of the Substance Use Services Director to ensure that high quality treatment services are being offered to clients. This position will be responsible for maintaining licensing standards, including but not limited to those regarding clinical service delivery and documentation. An ideal candidate would have experience directing trauma informed residential programs and have experience with grant management/oversight. Must have the ability to think globally, solve problems and have proven decision-making skills as well being able to think critically.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the total operation of the clinical programs including scheduling of case managers and clinical group schedule.
Responsible for interfacing with other departments as they pertain to the functions of clinical services offered.
Ensures that a safe, clean, comfortable, and therapeutic trauma-informed environment is maintained for residents.
Initiate, implement and monitor compliance with evidence-based practices.
Ensures that all clinical documentation is on time and accurate.
Ensures that staff work within their scope of practice and are provided supervision.
Supervises and evaluates staff according to agency policies and procedures.
Updates and develops clinical job descriptions as needed.
Assists in the development of clinical programming.
Collaborates with Human Resources to identify recruitment needs and to establish position requirements per regulations.
Assists in developing plans of correction regarding licensure, certification, and other approval provisions.
Maintain a high level of professional and ethical standards.
Work with Leadership Team to ensure there is successful communication and coordination between all departments.
Works collaboratively with Medical Services to provide wholistic care.
Collaborates with Human Resources to ensure all staff maintain required training.
Collaborates with Human Resources to develop corrective action plans for under-performing staff.
Models' effective communication that is reflective of Harbor Care's Red-Carpet Treatment for residents and staff.
Conducts regular staff meetings and in-services.
Provides counseling to clients, children and families as needed in order to supplement the current treatment being offered.
Provides clinical supervision to case managers and childcare coordinator, including completing performance evaluations and creating and overseeing performance improvement plans and progressive discipline process's
Perform related work as requested.
On-call clinical rotation and emergency notifications/supporting other on call staff.
All other duties as assigned by Behavioral Healthcare Senior Leadership Team.
