Job Description:



We are seeking a visionary Entertainment GM and Business Leader to collaborate with our Vice President of Film and President of Music to elevate our division. In this role, you will oversee financial performance, manage P&L, and ensure key metrics are consistently met, all while driving strategic growth. If you have a sharp business acumen, strong financial analysis skills, and a proven track record in the entertainment or film industry, we want to hear from you.


Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with Music and Film Leadership to develop and execute the business strategy for the division.


• 
  Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams to enhance market presence.


• 
  Financial Management: Oversee the division's P&L, ensuring financial health and sustainable growth.


• 
  Performance Tracking: Track, analyze, and report key financial metrics such as revenue, margins, and operating expenses to optimize performance.


• 
  Budgeting and Planning: Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, aligning with broader company goals.


• 
  Contract Negotiations: Manage contract negotiations, business deals, and partnerships in collaboration with legal and finance teams.


• 
  Executive Reporting: Regularly present financial reports and business performance updates to executive leadership, offering insights for growth and innovation.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in business leadership within the music, film, entertainment, or media industries.


• 10+ years of experience driving business strategy and initiatives for a business unit, ideally in entertainment.


• Strong financial expertise with a proven ability to manage P&L and drive business outcomes.


• Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.


• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and projects, emphasizing collaboration and results.


• Exceptional communication and leadership skills to influence and drive decision-making at the executive level.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Background in game development, with strong business acumen and people management skills.


• Experience in web3, cryptocurrency, and NFTs.


• Passion for innovation and a history of success in fast-paced, creative environments.
