This role has been designed as 'Hybrid' with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:

Job Family Definition:

Gathers necessary information to define and perform system set-up, configuration (incl. interconnect) and development of test procedures that meet corporate test standards and customer expectations.

Management Level Definition:

Responsible for providing technical support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet customers' business needs and, consequently, for understanding customers' businesses. As trusted advisor create and maintain effective customer relationships so as to insure customer satisfaction. Applies intermediate level subject matter expertise to solve a variety of problems. Works on problems of moderately complex scope. Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and limited project direction input. Exercises independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action. Follows established guidelines and interprets policies. Evaluates unique circumstances and makes recommendations. Works independently within an established framework and with moderate supervision.

Responsibilities:


  • Installation of new systems applications; updating applications, firmware, and drivers; creating boundaries for as well as performing configuration and testing activities...

  • Assist in the preparation of technical presentations and demonstrations; and participating in customer meetings.

  • Designs engineering solutions to test and evaluate systems, equipment, and devices based on established engineering principles and in accordance with provided specifications and requirements.

  • Develops and implements test plans, schedules, and requirements for subsystems of new and existing designs; builds testing tooling, fixtures, scripts, automation, and apparatuses based on provided specifications.

  • Participates as a member of the Test Engineering team, in collaboration with cross-functional organizations to develop and execute reliable, cost effective configurations and high-quality test solutions.

  • Works with minimal direction from the technical lead and with customer nominated representatives to accomplish assigned tasks.

  • Contributes to design for specific deliverables and assists in the development of technical solutions.

  • Participates as part of a team and maintains good relationships with team members and customers.

  • Creates or update procedures for use by authors and team members.


Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.

  • Must be a US citizen.

  • Willingness to pursue a security clearance if necessary

  • Typically 2-4 years experience.


Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficient in the use of Python, Bash, Perl script writing to automate test processes .

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language. Ability to effectively communicate test plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options.

Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. USD Annual Salary: $60,800.00 - $140,400.00
