Schneider Electric is in search of a Manufacturing AI/ML Optimization Engineer who will focus on leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning to enhance manufacturing processes and efficiencies. This role will play a crucial role in transforming manufacturing operations by implementing intelligent systems that can learn and adapt over time, leading to improved efficiency and productivity.

What will you do in this role?
• Design and Implement AI/ML Solutions: Develop and deploy machine learning models to optimize manufacturing processes, such as predictive maintenance, quality control, and supply chain optimization.
• Data Analysis and Preprocessing: Clean, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to ensure high-quality input for machine learning models.
• Model Training and Evaluation: Train machine learning models on historical and real-time data, fine-tune hyperparameters, and evaluate model performance using various metrics.
• Continuous Improvement: Implement continuous learning systems that adapt and improve over time based on new data and feedback.
• Collaboration: Work closely with manufacturing business leaders, process experts, and data engineers to identify optimization opportunities and align AI/ML solutions with business goals.
• Technology Evaluation: Stay updated with emerging AI/ML technologies and evaluate their potential application in manufacturing environments.
• Deployment and Monitoring: Integrate machine learning models into production systems and monitor their performance to ensure they operate efficiently in real-time environments.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
• BS Degree in Computer science, mathematics, engineering, supply chain or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a highly technical programming/engineering role
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL
• Experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
• Strong understanding of data structures, data modeling, and statistical analysis.
• Deep knowledge of algorithms, probability, and statistics.
• Familiarity with tools like Hadoop, Spark, and SQL for handling large datasets.
• Prior experience optimizing shop floor equipment, data monitoring and machine learning.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex manufacturing challenges.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively in a team.
