Financial Analyst III at Kforce Inc in Tualatin, Oregon

Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Tualatin, OR (onsite 2 days a week) that is seeking a Financial Analyst III who will work for the Corporate Functions Finance department and partner with the legal organization and corporate business operations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform financial forecasting, consolidation, reporting, and operational metrics tracking in support of financial cycles: Quarterly Reviews, Annual Operating Planning (AOP), and Balance Sheet Review (BSR) in support of legal organization and its subgroups


• Manage quarter-end close processes including variance analysis and actuals vs. forecast reporting of Opex, Spend, headcount, Capex


• Partner with corporate functions stakeholders at all levels (including Executive VP level) to roll up forecasts and gain business understanding of the key drivers; Refresh Opex Spend, Capex and HC


• Become a knowledgeable Business Partner with in-depth business knowledge of area of responsibility and its budget spend - able to see the big picture; Participate in relevant meetings


• Development of new metrics, track spend efficiency tied to company business drivers (I.e. Patents vs. New Product Releases)


• Partner with Business Operations to help reform the system of record for Spend Management and contract commitments


• Cross Functional Alignment with Financial Analyst peers on projects/activities intersecting multiple organizations, For example: Global Information System, Digital Transformation, Human Resources, etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or business-related field with 6+ years of experience, or Master's degree or equivalent certification (MBA, CPA, CFA, CA, CMA, or equivalent) with 4+ years of experience - or equivalent experience


• Work experience in accounting and controlling


• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to develop and maintain business partner relationships at all levels of the organization


• Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload; effective multi-tasking skills are vital


• Experience in SAP R3/FI-CO and Business Warehouse


• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, dashboards, and data visualization


• Able to crunch data, deep dive and paint a story/picture; Take the complex and simplify


• Able to learn new skills, software , programs and adapt to change


• High attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• Foundational understanding of US GAAP


• Advanced analytical, financial modeling, and reporting skills


• Ability to collaborate with diverse, cross-functional, and international teams including occasional flexible schedules to accommodate time zones


• Semiconductor or software industry experience is a plus


• Additional work experience in other non-finance areas (i.e. program management, supply chain management, product development) is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
