Bristol Bay Construction Holdings LLC (BBCH) is seeking an experienced dual hat Superintendent/Quality Control Manager to join our CCI Utility and Construction Services team, a subsidiary of BBCH. The primary responsibilities of this position are to coordinate, plan, and supervise subcontractors and/or craft activities to ensure adherence to plans and specifications; enforce site safety and provide contractor quality control. Candidates must have strong organizational and communication skills.

This position is located in Cape Canaveral, Florida.
Project Scope of Work:
Replacement of fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems including site work and new fire pump house at a facility on Cape Canaveral FL Space Force base. Work in an occupied building with phased construction.
Responsibilities:
Coordinating and reviewing submittals to ensure compliance with quality standards
Updating the submittal register accurately and in a timely manner
Conducting inspections to evaluate materials and workmanship quality
Supervising special inspections as required
Verifying qualifications of subcontractors and suppliers
Maintaining detailed rework/deficiency logs for quality improvement
Performing quality inspections
Holding preparatory meetings with the project team to discuss quality control measures
Subcontractor coordination and scheduling/phasing
Hosting weekly production meetings with subcontractors and client
Completing daily reports
Qualifications:
OSHA 30
CQM-C certification within the last 5 years
Minimum 5 years of construction experience as a Quality Control Manager on projects of similar size and complexity (Fire Alarm and Fire Sprinkler projects are a plus)
Experience managing Government projects
Proficient with Word, Excel, and PDF
Experience with Procore and RMS is a plus
Be able to obtain badging on military bases

Physical Requirements:
This position requires the ability to maneuver around work sites, see, hear, and verbally communicate with co-workers and clients. Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining the physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking or standing for prolonged periods of time; frequent opportunities to move about and to work outside the office environment for extended periods involving exposure to the elements with weather that will include extreme heat, cold, wind, rain or other inclement weather, walking over rough and uneven surfaces, and routine lifting of up to 35 pounds. If required, must properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times including but not limited to; hard hats, steel-toed boots, eye protection, respiratory protection, and hearing protection. Working Conditions:
Job is performed in a combination of office and outdoor site locations. The office setting includes exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. Outdoor settings include walking, driving, and carrying supplies throughout all seasons with exposure to heat and cold conditions, and potentially wildlife. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
