The Department of Psychology at Colby College is hiring a Visiting Assistant Professor in cognitive psychology to begin in Fall 2025. The specific area of research interest is open. We are interested in candidates who are committed to reproducible science and who have research interests that would be compatible with and complementary to the current research programs in the department. Teaching responsibilities may include introductory and advanced courses in the candidate's area of training, participation in a team-taught introduction to psychology course, assisting with the department's methodology and statistics offerings, and supervision of student independent research.For more information about the department, please see our website at https://www.colby.edu/academics/departments-and-programs/psychology/.
