Description:
The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of leukemia. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Board certification or board eligibility in hematology and/or medical oncology is required.
Teaching responsibilities may include teaching hematology/oncology fellows, house staff and medical students. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active and high-quality teaching.
Clinical responsibilities may include patient care in the area of hematological malignancies (acute leukemia). The Leukemia Program encompasses a busy inpatient service working with APP's, fellows, and residents, as well as an outpatient clinic with an emphasis on clinical care and clinical research.
