Job Responsibilities
The Business Technology Department is seeking Computer Information Systems and Network Systems Mgmt. Workforce Training Program Coordinator for the Spring 2025 term. Under the supervision of the department head and dean, the program coordinator for Computer Information Systems and Network Systems Management departments is responsible for the daily operations of the assigned instructional program(s). The program coordinator is responsible for teaching courses, designing and developing curriculum, evaluating adjunct personnel and student performance, and advising students. The program coordinator is also responsible for planning and scheduling non-credit courses and recruiting and assigning adjunct faculty for non-credit classes. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to, academic advising; planning and revising curriculum; maintaining office hours; scheduling non-credit courses; hiring, training, and managing adjunct faculty; assisting department head/dean with scheduling, budgets, advisory committees, and curriculum development.
Minimum and Additional RequirementsThis position requires a master's degree in Computer Programming, Networking, Information Systems, Information Security or a related field and two (2) years of progressively responsible related work experience.
Preferred QualificationsExcellent customer service and interpersonal skills are essential. Must be able to adapt to changes in information technology. Must be able to troubleshoot hardware and software.
