In this role, you will be responsible for developing data-driven models and tools for forecasting unit volumes across Wearables/MR product portfolio. The ideal candidate will have experience in building forecasting models, with tools such as SQL and Tableau, and distilling strategic insights and performance narratives for executive audiences. Business Operations Manager, Reality Labs Finance Responsibilities:
Develop models to predict unit sales of Wearables/MR hardware products
Create KPIs to measure and explain performance of the business
Query and visualize data from internal systems to develop insights into trends and opportunities
Collaborate with analytical, product, sales, demand planning, and finance teams to develop a robust understanding of product performance
Create strong business partnerships with Product Marketing, Sales, and Finance leadership overall
Up level existing planning, budgeting, and reporting capabilities with modeling contributions
Drive process improvements by partnering with up-stream process owners and enhance current tools/systems related to financial management
Provide financial leadership across planning, budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or other quantitative field
6+ years of experience in finance, analytics or business strategy
Experience managing end-to-end forecast processes across monthly, quarterly and annual cycles
Experience forecasting and modeling techniques that support various types of strategic analytics (i.e., time series forecasting, new product entry, scenario planning)
Experience partnering with and influencing functional leaders
Experience balancing technical expertise with strategic experience
Experience using data, analytics and visualization technologies including SQL or a similar database querying language, Tableau, and/or advanced analytical skills using Excel and Google Sheets
Proven experience working and delivering multiple projects simultaneously, with deadlines and changing priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with consumer and enterprise business models
Advanced degree such as an MS or PhD in quantitative field
