This role is an outstanding chance to create a significant impact on our global events and annual sales meeting. Our group supports the bioprocessing sector (BPG), enabling drug developers to manufacture biologics for the market. Events are more than setting up a booth; they are a strategic gateway to connect customers with solutions and form relationships. You will play a critical role in crafting and implementing an event strategy to improve our brand visibility and engage customers!
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive in-person and digital event strategy aligned with BPG's commercial objectives, lead generation goals, and customer needs.
Lead end-to-end event planning and execution, ensuring detailed logistics and outstanding attendee experiences.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop event objectives, content, and messaging that align with marketing objectives.
Lead all aspects of event budget & contract management.
Drive event promotion and marketing initiatives across various platforms, both digital and traditional, to ensure strong event attendance.
Engage with the Division GMD team and Regional marketing to establish lead generation strategies. This entails submitting and reporting post-event lead tactics in a timely manner.
Measure, report, and analyze event data and feedback to continuously improve marketing pipeline and efficiently implement changes for future events.
Qualifications
Experience in event management with a track record of planning and completing successful events.
Handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize.
Excellent communication to convey event goals and objectives.
Experience with budget and contract management.
Proficiency in digital marketing and event promotion platforms is a plus.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is strongly preferred. Candidates with practical experience in event and/or project management will also be considered.
5+ years of Marketing Communications and/or Event Management experience in a business-to-business environment, preferably for a U.S. based company.
Bioprocessing Market experience preferred.
Scientific capital equipment experience preferred.
Skill Requirements
Expertise in planning and organizing events; success in leading large-scale gatherings and digital events.
Understanding of event promotion and follow-up with the ability to efficiently implement creative strategies that generate interest and increase traffic.
Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, be flexible, and meet deadlines.
Proficient in lead generation and lead collection strategies.
Excellent understanding of contracts and contract negotiation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required, up to 30%.
Able to lift and move at least 15-25lbs.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $117,000.00-$160,000.00.
