Eurofins U.S. Clinical Diagnostics is searching for a Talent Acquisition Partner in Lee's Summit, MO .
This is a Full Time position. Schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM, with overtime as needed
Basic Function and Scope of Responsibility:
The Talent Acquisition Partner is primarily responsible for partnering with business leaders and human resources colleagues to successfully place top talent in U.S. Clinical Diagnostics. This success is achieved through developing effective recruiting plans utilizing solid traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The Talent Acquisition Partner plays a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent through effective sourcing, screening, candidate assessment and process coaching.
Employee Responsibilities:
Develop and execute recruiting plans at the individual position and company levels
Establish an effective network of industry contacts, associations, trade groups, social media and other emerging strategic sources
Develop meaningful success metrics and track measurable facets so that processes are transparent and continually improve. Set continuous improvement goals.
Consult with managers and communicate regularly to establish rapport, understand needs and determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans
Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
Conduct proactive sourcing activities in order to develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need
Build networks to find qualified passive candidates
Screen applications, conduct phone screens, schedule interviews and update application tracking system as needed
Coordinate and implement college recruiting initiatives, which may include: attending career fairs for recruiting and company recognition, developing working relationships with key college contacts, giving presentations at colleges, attending student group meetings, etc.
Partner with human resources colleagues on collaborative processes, such as transitioning to onboarding, HRIS structure, compensation structure, job descriptions, career development/level progressions, employment branding/value proposition, etc.
Partner with national recruiting team on strategic enhancements to the applicant tracking system and recruiting best practices.
Manage the relationships with staffing and temporary employment firms to help achieve staffing goals.
Coordinate internal recruiting and selection processes and work with HR Coordinator to facilitate smooth processing of transitions.
Coordinate the successful transition of candidates from the recruiting/accept pipeline to the Onboarding process
Ensure legal compliance for employment-related processes
Represent department and the organization favorably and in accordance with established Company standards and associate attributes at all times
Other duties as assigned by management
The Ideal Candidate would possess:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or other related business field required
5+ years of professional recruiting experience required
Two years of process/program management experience required (can be achieve concurrently with recruiting experience)
Experience with application tracking system required; Taleo preferred.
Proven candidate sourcing and relationship building skills
SHRM or HRCI certification preferred
Broad knowledge of business operations and impact on employment and sourcing
General knowledge of various employment laws and practices
Ability to influence leadership and others
Ability to partner directly with department managers on resolving their talent challenges
Willingness to work outside normal business hours as job dictates
Ability to make independent decisions regarding matters of significance
Goal oriented, with excellent time management and organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to interact effectively and work efficiently with people at all levels in an organization
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Keenly attentive to detail
Ability to keep sensitive information confidential
High level of proficiency with PC based software programs in a Microsoft Windows environment

Physical Requirements:
Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate a keyboard and other office equipment, use a telephone, access file cabinets and other items stored at various levels, including overhead
Ability to speak and hear well enough to communicate clearly and understandably with sufficient volume to ensure an accurate exchange of information in normal conversational distance, over the telephone, and in a group setting
Ability to continuously operate a personal computer for extended periods of time (4 or more hours)
