POSITION SUMMARY:
The Physician Assistant (PA/NP) in the Gynecology Division will play a crucial role in managing patient care in the inpatient setting. This position is designed to enhance patient care efficiency and improve overall safety and quality of service. The PA/NP will work closely with attending physicians, residents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely patient evaluations, discharge planning, and consultation management. Responsibilities also include surgical assistance and involvement in pre-operative and post-operative care.

MINIMUM:
This position requires graduation from an accredited Advanced Practice Registered Nurse academic degree program and certification as outlined in Florida Statutes 464 and Florida Administrative Code, Chapter 64.
Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate field of specialization or equivalent qualifications based on professional experience and otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties.
Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Instructor. Candidates must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in .
PREFERRED:
New graduates will be considered for employment after certification and licensure is completed.
Candidates with experience are preferred, especially experience in full scope practice and tertiary level of care.
A broad range of experience with outpatient women's health, family planning, prenatal and postpartum care along with inpatient prenatal, intrapartum and postpartum care is preferred
