About the Position:
This role is an on-campus, in-person position.
The Transfer Application Coordinator plays a crucial role in the Admissions Operations team, overseeing the processing of transfer applications and associated materials using the Slate CRM system. This position works collaboratively with the Student Records team to ensure timely and accurate processing of transfer credit evaluations, contributing to the efficient evaluation and matriculation processing for incoming transfer students.
Essential Functions:
Application Processing: Oversee and manage the processing of all transfer applications, including reviewing and updating application materials in the Slate CRM system.
Collaboration with Student Records: Work closely with the Student Records team to ensure that transfer credit evaluations are completed in a timely manner and that all academic records are accurately updated in the system.
Communication: Serve as a point of contact for transfer applicants and internal stakeholders, providing updates on application status and addressing questions related to the transfer process.
Data Integrity and Reporting: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data entered into the system, and assist in generating reports on transfer application status and processing timelines.
Monitor Data Update Request: Review and Process Term Updates and Application Withdrawals, Facilitate Admission Revocation Process with Enrollment Services Departments, Perform Record Consolidation to Resolve Duplicates, Fulfill Opt-Out Request Lists from Various Sources/Vendors, Facilitate Loading of Prospect Records Through Slate CRM.
Documentation: Maintain documentation for processes this position is responsible for to ensure consistency, accountability, and transparency in how tasks are performed, and use for training new staff and auditing workflows.
Back-Up Operations Staff: Serve as back-up for other Admission coordinators on the Operations team.
Perform other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
A Bachelor's is required for this position.
A minimum of two (2) years of experience is required.
Previous experience in a higher education setting, specifically in an admission office, is strongly preferred. Previous experience providing training and/or guidance to a variety of constituencies is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate broadly across the University and develop and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of constituencies. Must also demonstrate strong written communication skills.
Candidate must possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and analyze problems, as well as devise solutions. Must also have strong organizational, planning and time management skills.
Candidate must have strong attention to detail and be able to effectively prioritize and achieve deadlines on multiple projects. Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Software skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word and Excel) necessary. Previous experience with student administrative systems (PeopleSoft, Slate, or related) strongly desired. Knowledge and previous experience with Slate CRM is a plus.
