Position Overview:

This role's responsibilities will be split approximately 50/50 between Domestic Operations and Warehouse Operations. You will handle complex operational tasks, ensure smooth process flows, and maintain exceptional customer relationships. This is a safety sensitive position.

Key Responsibilities:

Domestic Operations:

• Resolve complex operational issues while meeting legal, company, and customer expectations.


• Provide outstanding customer service through effective communication.


• Ensure accurate and timely data entry and documentation.


• Track and report on shipment status and billing.


• Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements.


• Collaborate with internal teams to meet operational standards and goals.

Warehouse:

• Receive, inspect, and document inbound/outbound freight; includes loading & unloading trucks & containers


• Handle freight labeling, weighing, and dimensionalizing.


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas


• Follow safety protocols and procedures, including handling hazardous materials.


• Assist in the preparation of accurate customs export documents.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.


• Minimum two years of customer service or freight operations experience. Air freight experience preferred.


• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.


• Ability to lift and move heavy cargo (up to 100 lbs), safely operate warehouse equipment, and work in varying conditions.


• TSA Security Threat Assessment (STA) or equivalent required (Lynden Logistics will assist with application).


• Must pass pre-employment drug test and background screening.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the air freight industry or handling specialized cargo.


• Familiarity with tariff codes and customs export procedures.


• Effective communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
