Description: Our client is currently seeking a HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER
This job will have the following responsibilities:
A growing consumer products manufacturer in Alabama is currently searching for an Human Resources Director. To be considered, you must have at least 3+ years as the #1 person in HR in a consumer products manufacturing facilitiy. Those who are HR Directors or HR Managers who are the #1 person in an HR capacity will be all be considered. Those with any union experience will receive highest consideration. To be considered, you must have experience in leading and directing routine functions of the Human Resources department including hiring, succession planning, administering pay, benefits, leave, and enforcing company policies and procedures. The person will also oversee companywide benefit administration.You will also oversee employee discipline, terminations, investigations and performance issues as well as provide coaching to managers and supervisors on how to address employee situations. Finally, you will administer and oversee the operational management of health and wellness programs, 401(k) plans, compensation, and leaves of absence and work with benefit consultants to design, recommend and implement new benefit programs as well as administer current programs companywide. Serve as point of contact for corporate Profit Sharing, ACA Reporting, audits and 5500's. DEGREE PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED
MUST HAVE 3+ YEARS AS #1 HR PERSON IN A MANUFACTURING SITE
UNION EXPERIENCE WOULD BE A PLUS
