Job Description:

Location: Balcones Heights, TX

Salary: $65,000.00 USD Annually - $80,000.00 USD Annually

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Financial Analyst/Cost Accountant. This is a permanent, direct hire position in San Antonio, TX.


Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain standard costs for products.


• Analyze cost variances by comparing actual costs to standard costs.


• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve any discrepancies.


• Monitor project budgets and analyze deviations
  
  


• Collaborate for cost projections with overall financial goals.


• Generate financial reports, including variance analysis, forecasting, and trend analysis.


• Provide insights to management regarding cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiency.

Job Requirements:

• 2 years of experience


• Expect a fast-paced working environment and collaboration across departments.
  
  


• Proficient in Excel, SAP, Hyperion preferred
