Repairing all equipment to original performance standards and specifications in a timely manner.
Keeping all equipment in good working order.
Working with equipment suppliers' service representatives as required.
Following all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety guidelines, and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations related to food service.
Communicating needs for spare parts as outlined in the spare parts inventory.
Identifying equipment with poor performance history to the Maintenance Manager.
Maintaining equipment to ensure safe operation.
Communicating safety and sanitation issues to Safety and Sanitation Leaders, area leaders, Production Shift Supervisor, and Plant Manager.
Reviewing maintenance requests with the Maintenance Manager.
Ensuring the maintenance work area is clean, sanitary, and well-organized.
Instructing appropriate team leaders in the proper handling of equipment to minimize damage.
Reporting to work on time, in a clean and complete uniform, and maintaining good personal hygiene.
Following safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
Strictly adhering to all company policies and procedures outlined in the policy manual.
Performing any other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Industrial Electrical and Control wiring understanding required.
Food manufacturing experience
General facility maintenance skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Capability to fabricate and upgrade equipment.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
