Job Description:

When an entire city needs to be rendered into a 3D model in-flight, utilities buried deep under soil need to be uncovered, highly complex infrastructure projects need to be implemented and even when crime scene investigation needs to be documented - that's Leica Geosystems, part of Hexagon. Ensure the smooth operation of warehouse and inventory processes. Receive, store, and distribute parts, packages and materials within the location by performing the following duties.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO:

• The main task is to work with in the team to pick and pack and ship our products using UPS or FDX ship-manager. This all done under high pressure at month and Q ends. Over time could be needed during this time periods. Every team member has this responsibility. The team is build up out of 6 members we ship about 200 to 300 packages per day.


• Ensure inventory is properly accounted for.


• Take physical inventory and ensure proper inventory levels.


• Move materials and items from receiving to storage or to other designated areas.


• Sorts and places parts and packages on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as part number, locations etc.


• Fills or pulls orders, or requests for parts, and packages parts and orders as appropriate. May assemble as necessary.


• Arranges stock parts in a specified sequence for assembly by other workers.


• Process and ship packages via multiple shipping vendors.


• Handles routine maintenance in warehouse and office.


• Unloads materials, packages and parts from truck.


• Performs other duties as assigned.


• Enter necessary data for packing and shipping, receiving and storing into SAP.
