Guide, advise, and support students through the career planning, decision making, and job searching processes. Assist students in analyzing their interests and skills and developing career goals. Plan, market and implement career related programs and gather data to analyze program effectiveness. Liaise with senior stakeholders including faculty, university administrators and employers across NYU's global sites.
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Preferred Education:
Master's degree in a related field.
Required Experience:
2 year's relevant experience in career services, counseling, student personnel, human resources or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must include experience implementing programs, seminars, events, and preparing training materials.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Career planning, assessment, and job search expertise. Excellent communication, presentation, writing and organizational skills. Ability to deal with a diverse population at all levels.
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $77,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
